Mit der Sonderausstellung "Printed Art of Macedonia and the Region of Balkan" in Zusammenarbeit mit dem N .K. Institute and Museum, Bitola, unter der künstlerischen Leitung von Frau Velina Grebenska zeigt die Triennale das erste Mal in einer Grossausstellung das Schaffen aus dieser Region in Westeuropa.
Die Grafiktriennale war ab 2003 auch für

Halle 4.1. (in den Gängen K L und M)
Seit 2012 gehen die Stand-Besucherzahlen im Bereich der Künsterbücherstetig runter. Seit 2013 gibt es wesentlich weniger Anmeldungen. Ob die Frankfurter Buchmesse in der Zukunft noch ein wichtiger Platz für Künstlereditionen belibt wird sich in diesen Jahren zeigen. Im letzten "Gang" der Buchkunst Gang L fanden sich 2015 schon mehr Buchbinder u.ä. als seriöse Editionen.
Die Messe hat an Wichtigkeit deutlich verloren, sowohl für Sammler, als auch für die Editionen.
